Google photos seems to be the easiest way to backup my photos especially if it looks like I might be changing my phone very shortly.
Is there an issue with the privacy of the photos I upload? I can't actually see away to passcode lock them. Is it safer to put my more personal ones in Dropbox and the ones that are.more vanilla in content in Googles backup?
I have been using a photo vault for some of my intimate ones, but with changing my phone I will lose access to those so I need to move them around a bit.
How do you manage your photos? thank you. |

I use Dropbox for most of my photos, but I don't 100% trust any web based storage. If there's something that you really wouldn't want exposed (e.g. explicit photos which also show your face) I think physically backing up on a memory stick or external hard drive is better. |

Default is private, you have to send them a URL link for them to see public ones |

I only save my photos on external hard drives. Marc and I have one set aside just for explicit pics. It's password protected and we don't even connect to the internet when we are looking at them (there are more explicit pics on there than the ones I willingly post on here).
Paranoid maybe but it works for us  |
