I need your help folks! Even though I grew up living next to London, it's been ages since I've been there.
I'm off to the Harry Potter Tour on Saturday for my birthday (even though it's today ) what/where is the best place to eat around there?(I assume some people have been here if not are you bloody mad?) I don't mind heading into London but not over an hour journey from watford junction.
I don't even know if this thread made sense but there ya go!
Thanks. |

Global buffet in Watford is really nice as is Jimmy's World Buffet. They have live food counters with chefs will cook for you and a massive choice of food. They have websites, uoi could have a look.
I would recommend them.
On the high street there is also a choice of many normal restaurant chains. |

If you are looking to go into London, take a look on opentable, plenty of decent places doing great deals.
My personal suggestions would be Simpsons on the strand or the Balcon.
Great places for a special birthday meal.
Wherever you go, have a great day and happy birthday.x |

I'm from Watford theres some good suggestions on here tarboush is great as is the nascot and the flower drum. Jimmy's has been closed down as they owe the council a load of money as well as all the staff. Five guys is great if you just fancy something easy. Personally I would suggest the gourmet burger place or flower drum. With regards to steak out last I heard they where on trouble for lying about there exotic meats |

"She's 32. I can't see Simpsons working. It's for fat old businessmen who want a very traditional lunch."
Really...
Traditional yes..
Fat ol business men, not on a Saturday night, just a general cross section of society enjoying good British food. |

"I asked if she was looking for burger and chips of 3 Michelin stars. She did not answer, so it's impossible to recommend, when we don't know what she is looking for."
Well I don't care really. Somewhere decent and burger and chips? I'm not a massive burger fan. |
