Are people really fussy about having a public face pic?

In what way? People usually want to see a face pic before a meet but it's ok to have them private.

If you don't want to have a public face pic then don't have one.

Lots of people don't have a public face pic. It's not an issue. Sharing them privately was always my preference. Do what you want to do.

I don't have a public one, but I try to share early on, just in case! I'd expect one in return.
