I keep getting send the Groupon for The Crazy Bear hotels and I have to say they look absolutely amazing.
The one in Beaconsfield is not that far from me has anybody tried it, and what was your experience? They do a really good overnight deal with dinner, breakfast and your hotel room, and it looks extremely decadent.
I have been for lunch onece, that the Fitzrovia one, and that was really unusual and quite an experience.
They have different restaurants, and even offer a couples massage, I would love to hear fellow forumites experiences, if you have stayed at any of these hotels.
If it is your first Groupon purchase you can get an extra 25% off the price, and you can still use cashback sites like quidco and TopCashback to bring the price even further down. It does look like a bargain for a special occasion, as for two people in what looks like an amazing room with dinner bread and breakfast it would be less than £200.
I am in no way connected with this group of hotels I'm just interested if people found them as unusual as the website seems to portrait and would it be a memorable experience?

We've been Beaconsfield one before and ate at their Thai restaurant, we don't usually rate Thai restaurants outside Thailand but have to say it was a decent meal to be fair
If you've never been and your getting a deal on the price then would suggest it's worth a nights stay. Certainly different to most hotels |

We have been to Beaconsfield twice and just booked the Stadhampton one for December. They are ridiculous and demand sex. Totally worth the money, if just for the opportunity for a photo shoot in the room. |

... and this is exactly why they're also on our wish list too! Have spent ages drooling over all the rooms on their website ...

Haven't stayed at the hotel but have had a meal at Beaconsfield in the upstairs restaurant and been for cocktails in the bar a few times...I love it there but have to save pennies for a night out there...it's worth it tho. The loos downstairs are something else (& offer a little opportunity for a sneaky peak into the gents!! ) |

I've been in the Beaconsfield one a few times - never used the hotel, but was at a Xmas do there last year and been for drinks a couple of times as I work nearby. It's impressive, but a bit gaudy for my taste; the overall impression was of a clichéd 19th century bordello. |

"We also would love to book this hotel.
Has anyone sneaked anyone else in to join them?
"
I wouldn't worry about sneaking people in - from the looks of it, people meeting up to fuck is half their customer base. |

Had drinks and a meal there too, good description. The whole place is like a tart's boudoir - no class, or sophistication. Ideal for a '70s style porn film setting. |
