I'm a week behind

Early thoughts on who will go far? I'm already a Rinder/Daisy Lowe fan.

Difficult to say this year to be honest, there are no obvious "duffers" in the John Sargent/Ann Widdicombe mould...even Ed Balls put on a half decent display last week (although I doubt he or Leslie Joseph will go too far)...other than that think it's pretty much wide open, although Judge Rinder might have to watch his gurning if he wants to progress!!

That guy from Hollyoaks (I forget his name), he looked pretty good. Daisy and Louise looked promising. We'll know more after we've seen them do their second dance though.

Ah yes, that's him He looks like he has potential. Quite unusual for a male celeb to move like that, especially on the first week.

My favourites this week were:

Laura Whitmore - great dress, great dance.

Ed Balls - gave it his all. Well deserved standing ovation.

Judge Rinder - give him a routine where he just shows off his dancing ability. He's capable of making the final.

Very controversial. They went on the public vote and the public often vote on who they like personality wise. So if for instance loads of people votes rinder out, he would have gone out, although he's , technically the better dancer and the judge's may well have kept him in. Hope that makes sense

The fairest thing, probably, would be to keep them both in and do a double elimination next week. Anastasia has torn some scar tissue, bless her, so not sure how long that will prevent her from dancing?

His children's television presenter still comes out every once in a while but he appears to put the work in and puts everything into the performance.

Oti is my favourite professional and the pairing with Danny is magical so they are either going to plateau, and others will catch up to them, or they'll hold the lead to the end.

he was in les mes on tour

Danny first studied Acting at Chichester College - one of the UK's top 10 'Outstanding' Colleges (as awarded by Ofsted). After his two-year-course in Chichester, Danny was offered a scholarship at London's highly renowned Drama School: The Arts Educational School (ArtsEd) - where he continued to train for three more years, graduating with a BA(Hons) Degree in Performing Arts. He graduated and went directly back to the West End where he starred in the multi-award-winning hit production of 'Wicked', the same year the show won it's first Laurence Olivier Award.

Whilst in London, as well as being involved in many concerts and guest spots throughout the West End, Danny was invited to create the leading roles in the original workshop productions for various theatres including both 'Better Than Nothing' at The Shaw Theatre and 'Once Upon a Time at the Adelphi' for The Liverpool Playhouse.

I think most actors have a stage school background which includes dancing. His shaping during the paso equalled the professionals.

That said Ore's jive made even Craig gush and I don't think he's had any training, so who knows, proper competition as last!

Ore. I like him a lot.

Ed doing the campest Paso I have ever seen.

I've always found Ore annoying, but fair dos to the lad, his jive was amazing. He'll give Danny Mac a run and isn't as desperate!

I keep thinking, Danny must have danced before, he can't be that good so soon, what do you think?he was in les mes on tour

Whilst in London, as well as being involved in many concerts and guest spots throughout the West End, Danny was invited to create the leading roles in the original workshop productions for various theatres including both 'Better Than Nothing' at The Shaw Theatre and 'Once Upon a Time at the Adelphi' for The Liverpool Playhouse."

I also think Danny looks like a professional

His posture and moves are so good every time

I love ore too after last nights performance

Wish they would have one that's none professional

Now that would be a challenge

Why is it always celebrities

I'd love to have a go

I have been led to believe that was the original idea. There was one show/documentary with ordinary people. Nothing happened with it and the Strictly happened.

They did do one for Children in Need last year.
