Similar to AC/DC is an Australian band called Rose Tattoo. Listening to their "Scarred for Life" album. Should have been big but despite the UK liking them, they could never crack the US market. Their image of "rough and ready" types was not really in fashion at the time! Unfortunately, apart from their vocalist Angry Anderson, a lot of the band members have passed away.
