Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I bought my first pair of Converse All Stars today for under £30.

My big ugly coat for Iceland also arrived and it was under £40.

Spuds are free here from the allotment. Enjoy yours - it's that nice time of year for potatoes all ways.

Well... yes they are but I cleared out about 15 pairs of shoes and boots and the plan was to only buy 1 pair of ugly waterproof, fleecy hot boots for Iceland. I did get those but the silver Converse were close enough to the ugly boots that they jumped into my basket.

Local co-op paid me £1.50 to take two nets of satsumas home. Went in from work and picked them from bargain bucket but they were still on offer, bogof, so till automatically took full price off my bill, bargin!

And converse..own three pairs of boots and a pair of white with black stars sneakers..often wear different colours on each foot

Awwww good call. As a teen I had a pair of cherry reds n a pair of green dms. I used to wear one of each. Then I spray painted one of my green docs yellow. xxx

Yes, we have a big trip planned. It's very exciting but my usual clothing just won't keep me warm with the wind coming off the sea. I've had to buy a load of ugly things to keep me warm.

not for me personally - but at work we are doing up a room as a reminsence room for some of our dementia sufferers - i have been chasing round various fb sites- e of bay and charity shops - a lot of items have been donated - people have big hearts
