After nearly two months of not working I finally start my new job, it's only casual care work so not guaranteed hours which is a bit of a downer but they promise me there is enough for me, I just hope it wasn't a ploy to get me through the door!! (Had to go casual as I can't commit to weekends due to the kiddies being down)
Still it's money and will keep me busy as I've been going out of my nut some days! Not so bad since we moved but still get the odd time of being really bored!!

Good for you! It's hard not working but even casual work is better than nothing. I worked casually for 2 years and the hours were great but keep your eye out for a permanent position to cement your income

Except in care work the clients still need to get up, eat, take medication etc at weekends. A permanent position would likely expect weekend availabilty |

Always feel better after doing a good days work. Can't stand the feeling of not being productive, makes you feel like a waste of space.
All the best, hope it gives you a sense of satisfaction self worth. |

That's the reason they couldn't take me on full time, which I said at the interview I understood the reason why but as I only see my kids at weekend something had to give, luckily my income is just secondary x |
