The story of a handicapped boy whose mother and siblings were brutally murdered in front of their home.
On his first day of school, he is abducted by a masked man and is held prisoner in a dentist's office.

Very simple - I found it because I'm interested in the music of Michel Legrand, the great French film composer. He wrote the music for some great films including The Thomas Crown Affair which included his famous 'Windmills of your mind'. But perhaps his next most famous song is 'Sweet Gingerbread Man'. That's from 'The magic garden of Stanley Sweetheart'. Apparently the guy who wrote the book hated the way the film was made and the film was not successful. At one stage it was even considered a lost film.
But watch it! It taught me more about the hippie lifestyle than anything else I've ever read or watched on the subject!
And Legrand's other films are worth investigation. He was a terrific musician! |

Let's try this again, with a more descriptive summary.
Lost - A plane crashes on a desert island where survivors live and die by battling with a smoke monster, polar bears in the desert and travelling back and forth through time with fellow survivors and those who died and punch numbers into a computer to stop a major catastrophe. With God and the Devil in human form and the island's ability to move position by turning a wheel, not just in location but time, there are enough hours to wipe out of your life by watching this series. Then they all live happily ever after. Only they don't. Or do they?
