Always been a fan, and went to see him live at Brighton centre in May.
Was a fantastic evening, went with my eldest son, (his treat).
The funny but was when my lad asked me why he kept on singing "prick up your ears."
I had to explain that most of the songs were written by Marko Peroni who is, let's say a bit camp, lol.
Prick up your ears is the title of a book by Joe Orton (think his name was Joe). The word ears is an anagram, ahh, the penny drops.
When he asked how I know about the book, I told him my dad had a copy. Which by the way is the truth, definitely not about cats! |

Em absolutely isiolises him and would leave me in a heartbeat if she could get near him. She went to see him in pompey a couple of months that ago and was on cloud nine for days after lol |

He got us all to sing Prince Charming for him, then said "that was beautiful."
60 now and still a class act.
