I knew that was what the title was pertaining to. I was just thinking how Autumnal the evening was feeling; it was a little too warm this afternoon to feel it. I'm boot hunting next week, I've heard we are going to have a harsh winter.
For my winter wardrobe I'm thinking burnt orange, chocolate brown and deep purples. |

I've just had a large amontillado and a packet of walkers and I can confirm they are very effective for thermogenesis......
13 tog duly installed and large furry pussy strategically placed to warm a nice patch for my feet for later!
Sorted! |

Yes, I've just got new bedlinen with a lot of chocolate, purple and deep cerise in it, and a rug to match. |

I dug out my duffle coat this morning. It was like saying hello to an old friend. I am currently under a sofa blanket trying to resist the urge to put the heating on. But it's bloody nippy. |

Expensive Dale of Norway jumper thing that I pinched from the bf (who was given it by his boss for some weird reason...) windproof, really heavy to wear, it has little thumb holes in it and everything. Tis well cosy. Oh and the fan heater in the shed because it's fucking freezing. |

I've been thinking that for a while. I've also been considering a pipe and a pocket watch. |

"Cold? It was 15c by 8am here & 22c this afternoon, I haven't even thought about chopping some logs yet let alone lighting a fire
S"
I don't think we made it to 22c here in London but it wasn't in the least bit cold. There's a slight nip in the night air but not enough to change from the 3 tog duvet.
I did wear a thin jumper today and I was a bit warm during the day.

Yes you could go for an embroidered waistcoat with your top hat, that would work! |

Heating not back on. Summer quilt still fine. Still got bedroom window open....but I did flick the gas fire on for an hour this evening....just to check it's working in case it actually does get cold!
But then again I'm in Worcester....and I'm used to Autumn /Winter in Lancashire! |

It really would. I just want to dress in steampunk clothes to be honest. That would make me so happy. |
