For communication I use Whatsapp and text.

Other useful apps are maps and weather.

Says she trusts it more than WhatsApp.

A bigger f-you to Zuckerberg would be if you got rid of Facebook.

I use kik with people who I don't want to give my phone numbr to. Seems to work well.

You can disable the sharing in your settings menu. It doesn't mean whatsapp will be disabled. I disagreed ages ago and it still works fine.

i like kik and whatsapp, kik is a lot safer I think, less chance of harassing phone calls?

Have a look at Viber..it's free..but you'd have to get all your mates on it too.
