Yes go fishing off the Butt of Lewis in my boat. Been lots of cod this year. Got one more time out to top up the freezer then pulling the boat out of Port Ness harbour. |

Yes it's a Shetland black hawk. A bit tatty but does the job.
Also do a lot of trout fishing on the lochs as most places here you don't need a fishing licence. Good salmon here as well but you have to keep an eye open for the ghillies.
Have some creels as well for the lobsters and crabs. You'll have to come up and stay a week here with us in the summer. June is the best time. If you shoot as well plenty of wild geese here. Legs and wings as tough as old boots so we just take the breast only. |

I don't catch and kill I'm catch an release only - don't like to eat fish
No problem with anyone who does just hope they do eat it and don't waste it .
I would love to go up Scotland camping and fishing , the views and the smell of the fresh air .
Do you live n the boat ? |
