Merely pointing out a newish forum trend. One that isn't exactly helping make the forums a place that's nice to be around as previous threads along this line have proved. I liked Bold Girl. I just happen to think threads like this never go well so I'd rather see less of them and let's face it, they're multiplying. Call me passive-aggressive if you like; I still think there's no need for them. |

If there was no thread in the 1st instance then there would be no comments to read which is probably why the woman in question snuck out the back door. |

There haven't been negative comments about BG. The negative comments have all been the usual ones from posters who don't feel they get enough attention. The ones who will try and bend any thread to a gripe session, the ones mommy obviously didn't pay enough attention to. It's not the threads that bring the forums down, it's the contributors. |

I knew full well when I posted this there would be the normal nasty shit posted. I've been here a long time and know only to well how it all works but the day I stop posting my concern for people I've grown over a long time to consider as a friend will be the day I leave myself. At the end of the day if you don't like a thread don't post on it its that simple. With some of the nasty comments posted on here and other threads of late it really is no surprise why so many of the regular forum posters have left but belive me no matter what shit you post or your opinion is so long as its within the forum rules I'll post what I like about anything I like. Let the bitchfest continue |

Which I suppose is the whole point. The forums have been going downhill since before fab was setup if you were to believe some posts. They must be way underground at this stage, they've gone down so far. Nothing changes, just the names contributing, you always have the same balance and the same themes running through it. |

Maybe it's just me. I'm not a big fan of "Kiss, fuck, avoid" threads, but I've never felt the need to fill them up with "who gives a shit" or "Jesus, get a life" style comments. I just work on the principle that there are plenty of other threads that interest me, and leave the others to those that like them.
Besides, if I'm not allowed a passive-aggressive rant at people who make passive-aggressive posts, I'll never win that irony award.

"Ah. The daily vague fab leaving thread. It's fairly new, people starting farewell threads on behalf of people who left without wanting to make a fuss themselves. Maybe we should have a new forum section for exits. Or change the introductions one to hellos and goodbyes.
