I was walking along the high street the other day, phone in hand fabbing, as I paused to fab a picture I noticed a 2 pound coin on the ground!!! Talk about lucky!! If I ever meet the woman I fabbed she's getting that 2 pound coin!! |

Not really. Have had a hand job and a couple of BJ's in the club so joining Fab hasn't been a total loss; that said, I wish I could have better luck! I think I need to grow at least another half a foot in height first though! |

Success might be a better word than luck to use. The hardest part on fab is being able to schedule meets. Getting a time and place that suits both parties can prove very frustrating. In terms of actually finding people I'd like to meet, the answer is yes. |

Not met anyone since I was here last.
I've never been a prolific swinger anyway.
I still believe I have plenty to offer though, and I like the forums.

Yes I have been lucky, by lucky it is simply the fact that a few lovely people have joined in with a conversation and that has blossomed into meets. I think it's lucky due to the high number of idiot single males in here who give us good guys a bad name.

As we all know fab can be annoying but we've met 3 great couples because of fab.
We're chatting with others that are beyond our reach but would love to meet when opportunity comes.
Been stood up a couple of times but the good ones make it worth it.
Just takes time to find someone you click with.

We use Fab to stay in touch with people we meet at clubs and socials, rather than giving out phone numbers. For this it serves our needs perfectly. Yet to meet anyone through being contacted on here (we don't bother to message randoms), though we are close to arranging a social with one couple who messaged us.
Generally we find face to face a far more reliable introduction. |

But, I wouldn't call it luck, we've put in the hard graft of attending socials, clubs, and other events, and reaped the rewards.
We've made friends for life of some we have met, and had loads of fun in the process. |

I agree with others. Meeting people is due to effort not luck really. However, I have recently resumed contact with someone I lost touch with a few years ago, and we are planning to meet soon. I regard that as luck! |

Yes and no.
It's been pretty hit and miss for us. Started off well but then went downhill.
Alot of that is due to us not having the inclination to put in so much effort to searching, plus a lack of available free time to meet.
It's far easier to just pop along to a party or meet those we already know.

Depends how you looked at the stats.
If you go by the number of actual meets in five years, a new guy joining would probably go "what a waste of time" (there have been some, honest and I've lost veris as people have left).
If you go by the "messages sent:meets" ratio, it's pretty good (I very rarely send them).
Personally, I don't go by either. I've really enjoyed being on here. Met some lovely people made some cool online friends, ticked a few boxes, learnt a few new tricks, learnt a few things about myself, got some good advice for facing up to the absurdity of life and talked a spectacular amount of bollocks.
I'm happy that. I don't expect the earth and it'll do nicely .

I create my own opportunities, however if I was to compare.
I'd say in terms of meeting new meets, potential meets etc the rankings would be
1st - Clubs
2nd - Socials/Parties
3rd - Fab
I would say that using the forums this time is helping more with talking to new people on a wider geographic sense that I wouldn't normally have any interaction with.
If you use the site correctly, there's no reason why it can't be a success. I still would always recommend clubs for more regular meets though.

I had plenty of success as a single male on here over the years. I had some great meets and some not so great meets, made some brilliant friends, met some complete arseholes. Last year I met the love of my life. Fab has been good to me.

When I had my singles profile I had no problems getting meets, as most women on fab do. I made some lovely friends along the way, as well as finding the awesome MrWho.
However, I didn't have much success with the ladies. The ones I liked were hundreds of miles away, or part of a couple who wanted to play as a couple and I wasn't ready for that at the time. I still occasionally look and I intend to arrange something at some point.
