I have just had two fresh oysters.
Having had them before, I still can't decide whether they are absolutely wonderful or vomit-inducing. They are on the cusp of both.
A bit like extreme sex. |

"oysters are like licking phlegm off a tortoise!!!"
How the fuck did you end up locking phlegm off a tortoise?
Poor tortoise, getting gobbed on by random strangers... |

Oddly, im a bit of a snob when it comes to oysters, have to be big fat juicy pacific ones. Hard to get but im happy to hold out for them and not have something inferior.
Now if i lived in oban id live on them |

"Id happily live off Shellfish, despite it apparently not being good for the cholesterol levels.
I enjoyed Oysters, more so when warmed through...
Yum
" there is a seafood hut right next to the ferry port in oban and i could happily spend the rest of my life just eating from there |

Can't beat Essex rock oysters.
Slimy, yep but real tasty with some shallot vinegar and a splash of tabasco..
Also good battered and deep fried, the Thorn at Mistley in Essex does the best fried scallops around. |
