What's the difference?
Do FWB have the best idea - sex and friendship and nights out. Whereas relationships involve arguments and meeting weird in laws and washing socks.

Sadly, from what I sometimes see on here, it appears a FB is what the men are looking for, a relationship is what the women are looking for, and a FWB is the compromise they both call it, while each sticking to their initial definition while remaining in blissful denial.
But I'm ready to be torn to shreds, obvs

How about in between? Just a "like you." And an understanding that you are not committed to one-on-one? |

You can simply just walk away from a FWB when you have had enough, its not always that easy to just walk out of a relationship |

There's an element of truth, some fuck buddies morph into more I guess some don't. |

I used to have the perfect fb - I#d txt in the morning, he'd show up at lunch, we'd spend 2-4hrs rutting and then he'd fuck off 'till the following week.
Great sex and zero other interaction.
Perfect.

Surely feelings would become involved? If not by both parties then by one side! |

Had FWB relationship years ago, we knew each other's kids had a great time however there were no feelings involved at all- purely was a really good friendship where we fucked. We eventually drifted apart when I met Paul.
Fb I would say is just a endearing term for someone you are friends with and fuck. But others may see if different. |

"The idea of both gives me the barf
I'm curious, have you ever had a relationship with someone?
I hope you don't mind me asking xx
No
I don't mind at all "
I would normally say, it will happen one day, when you least expect it but with you, I won't because I know that's not what you want or need to hear.
That's a compliment by the way |

I don't have or want either. I like my sex life totally separate from my social life. Men are for fucking and using for carnal pleasures.
Eating out, drinking, cinema etc are for family and friends. |

The term fb or fwb to me is when someone takes some form of ownership on someone because they are shagging them and stick a label on like a trophy.
I have friends i do stuff with, some i shag some i dont. The fact i shag them has no relavance to the friendship they would still bd friends without the shagging.
And to me friends care about each other so i dont get how you can have a friend you dont care about |

To me, 'relationship' means ownership and fb/ fwb doesn't.
I agree about friends caring about each other. |

"You could be right actually,I want a relationship, but a fwb sound's more attractive
No forget that it doesn't,changed my mind...
"
I change my mind as often as I change my knick knacks, which probably explains why I have neither |

Had a few FBs over time. Met a few of their families and friends....but not at any time has the relationship thing come up. One introduced me to the Lady Mayor of Droitwitch who had asked if I was her partner only to be told...no. This is Chris. He's my fuck buddy. She is now married to someone she met at one of my parties...still on here as a couple. Another knows I have also fucked her daughter....and her since and still occasionally. With them and others we have done what some would call dating I suppose...pictures, bowling etc...but as friends and never with ties.
At the end of the day tho it's each to his/her own. You find what works for you. |

Not sure.
I mean we all want to be friends with our partners and fuck them, usually. And i'm not picking up after another adult and washing their socks either, they can do that themselves.
I suppose there's more element of commitment with a relationship, and it's likely you see a future together. |

"I have recently met my FB. We have the most intimate fun and can talk about anything in a nonjudgmental way, no expectations or jealously. Perfect ??"
We have that in our relationship, no ownership ... never experienced that |
