Well... We loved each other but me working away, the responsibility of looking after 300 men meant that when I was home for 2 days a month, it was like hard, after a few months of being totally platonic ? It kinda became taboo to talk about it... A year went by and we split because she said she couldn't even try? No matter if the reason was that I was stressed. |

My own feelings are that you should move on.
Sex isn't a relationship and if a relationship dies when there's no sex then it was just sex. Maybe not at the beginning but surely later on. xx

I've been on line and taken screen shots of couples conversations about how affective counselling had been for them, I've then sent her them and told her I'm happy to talk etc.
But she doesn't really understand it believe in how stress can have an impact on anyone.
But with me working 13 days on and 1day off and having to travel 200 plus miles to get home etc..... I was just shattered and it was like we just became friends.
I seen her on Monday and I gave her a hug, a kiss on top of her head and said I love you hun, (held my hands out) and said don't give up on me.
She said she loved me too but was no longer in love with me and that she would talk next week over lunch.

I'm an ex combat infantry soldier and bodyguard to the queen.
I know how to treat someone with respect.
Plus... I loved the lass and the kids.
Men get nothing from here and 9times out of 10 you text a women and get nothing back.... Regardless of how polite you are.
There's too much hassle for women on here and I choose not to get involved.
I think women gain a whole mountain of confidence from a site like this because most men on here would message they're own gran for a blow job.

I just wanted to know if you're sure you did all you could do? If you did, then something's are just out of your control. Clearly she wasn't happy and something was wrong, so chose to change that. |

And yes things weren't good.... Especially with me being away from home, but I do know that I did all I could, I cared in everyway, but when the topic of sex came up and we discussed it slightly, I mentioned counselling and yet she didn't believe in it.
Guess I'm just being stupid and need to move on, but I so don't want to without a fight.
