It starts on ch4 9pm, are you also going to watch it? I like the series and its fun to see how long they can stay away from being caught. How long do you think you could be on the run? |

I'll be watching! Thought the first series was very well done!
I think if I had to go on the run like that I would try to get to France as soon as possible. Then can disappear anywhere is Europe. |

I loved the first series! Excited about watching tonight. I think the contestants will be a lot better prepared this year having watched how last years lot got caught (cashpoints, phoning home etc) and there is a prize on offer to make it well worth their while to evade the hunters! |

First thing i would do is get a mountain bike then off i go. Avoid built up areas and roads. I do a lot of off roading so i know my limits and i can safely say i can put a lot of distance between me and the starting point the first couple of days |

Only thing is, you have to stay in the UK. |

In this one they are going to use more of the tactics the police force would use to track someone...
It still is surprisingly easy to just disappear...
Two burner phones used to contact each other at preselected times and days.
After each call is made, the sim is destroyed.
Then its as simple as heading out to the middle of nowhere, no cameras, no cctv and no public contact.
Think about it....you know your going on the show, you pack you bag the moment you find out, prime your loved ones to the contact system and make sure you have an idea on where your going.
No bits of paper, no using your own pc, old school it. Maps...which you take with you.

See this is why I'm not watching... it made me cross watching it last time. Don't contact anyone. I only watched the first few cause the stupid woman phoning home to check on her kid made me want to punch the TV.
If you apply for such a show make a just in case plan beforehand... have a bag and a stash of cash and transport sorted in advance. If you have kids depending on you and you can't leave them then don't apply for such a show.
Common sense. Make sure you have some before you start. (Not you obviously... the fuckwit contestants)
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. |

those ex military guys fucked up. They forgot the 6 ps
Prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
No putting anything down, anywhere.
Personaly i would put malware on my system, tablet and phone..something that once connects to an outside device it takes their info and sends it off to a ghost account.
There are thousands of ghost programs from keyloggers to ebombs created for these purposes.
You could then use a vpn, port scanner and laptop, take over the hunters network, see, hear and get their info and stay one step ahead of them |

I thought there was certain conditions the 'hunted ' had to adhere to one of which was making available your technology, don't they have to use a cashpoint at some point as well ? |

I didn't know there'd been a first series. !!
I enjoyed last night but somethings were irritating. Like:
Why didn't the hunters in the cafe pounce ?
And those soldiers....... jesus ..... arrogant or what ? Convinced they are top dog and invincible because they've been in the forces. How come they don't realise that they are 'readable' BECAUSE they've been 'trained' call it what you will.
Im in love with the bloke on the bike. I hope he wins. |

Watched it for the first time last night (had it recorded) and a couple of things confused/irritated us....is there a rule that if the hunters knock on your family's door that they have to tell them everything they know and allow the hunters to search the house and take away technology etc? If not, then why the heck didn't they just tell family not to let them in and/or hand anything over?

Oh ffs.....
It's utter drivel!
Has anyone actually gone away and read the list of rules?
The FULL list?
You can't hide
You can't leave the film crew
You must use phones
You must contact family
Etc
Etc
Etc
The show has everyone tied up so they can track and "catch" them at any moment they choose.
The only reason you don't know this is because of how they edit it.
Go and read the rules - its on their website.
If you watched the first series and know anything about tech you'll have noticed the GPS trackers fitted to their rucksacks.
It would make pretty shit tv if 10 people just fucked off into the middle of nowhere within 60 minutes..... |

Thanks for that didn't know the rules were posted but will take a look, and yeah suspected copious editing was going on was just intrigued as to the rules but if they are as you suggest then it's a bit of a joke really, and may have to rethink watching any more.

The production company were also called out on the last series for having the trackers in full view on film.
Hard to miss when they are white with a company name on them Granny.....
They do have to us phones, call family, keep contact, etc.
It's part of the contract they sign to do the show. |

I'm really upset that the woman who dropped the girls off is grassing them up for £500! Such poor moral fibre.
And the guys, they were just tracked from a mobile phone: but they didn't work it out quickly enough. Stupid! |

I read ALL the rules I could find. Where are the FULL rules ?
I read this :
You have to be on the move during hunting hours.
You have to allow hunters to access your stuff at home and question your family and friends but your family and friends can lie.
You can't hide in a sewer for 28 days etc.....
No where did it say you MUST use a phone or you MUST have a gps.......
So ....source please..... |

I was hooked despite being able to see some 'staging'.
I wanted Nick to win from the start. The dizzy girls grew on me and I soooooooooooo screamed as they were caught.
The other bloke that made it......Ago. Ayo .... I.O. ...... I couldn't take to for some reason. I'd have rather his friend had made it.
One thing that really stood out is that you can't really make it without a NETWORK of helpers.
I took an instant dislike to the arrogance of the Army Blokes and I am glad they were first to get caught. I also couldn't take at all the the 'scatty' woman and the bloke who followed her around who got caught second I think.
Someone answer this for me pls......
The boat at the end...... that seemed very contrived to me. Like it was just done for tension. The hunters seemed to know too much about the pick up point. It could have been ANYWHERE in the u.k. I was screaming fix at the T.V. |

Yeah the ending wasn't hugely convincing to me either, suppose Ayo gave it away or the people who dobbed him in anyway as to the general area. Glad he made it though even though he was pretty cocky earlier on. |

Very much agree on Nick and that slightly odd woman, being ex military I was pissing myself at how stupid the 2 guys were..
it was a fix last night as Ayo? had switched cars somewhere without cctv and then the highlighted Dartford when he had been dropped off nowhere near it and Nick was in Tonbridge..
we both wanted Nick to win it even though the whole thing is contrived as he looked to really grow in confidence as it went on..
