Reading a book series at the minute and the main characters come up with really awesome pet names for each other.
Got me thinking that I've never been given a pet name or even a nickname at school, I feel a bit left out lol.
Who's got (or given) a pet name they love (or hate)?
Don't share it though if you use it as a password lol

My husband and I call each other all kinds of ridiculous, usually borderline offensive pet names. I can't be doing with the "hun", "babes", "sweetie" stuff and neither can he (thank fuck). |

My friends at school called me Polly or Poll.
I hated it at first, mainly because of the reason I was called it in the first place but then I just got used to it.

School friends had many nicknames for me. Titch, squirt and munchkin.
Then Red and that's stuck.
My ex called me babycakes.. He now calls his new wife that too.
So clearly shows not a special nickname.

At school I was known as big bird .. I know, original right?
And when I was younger, free and single and went out partying most nights I was given the acronym BTA |

My mum used to call my step-dad "dogsbreath" and he called her "arse features".
I can't remember any pet names I've had. It's been awhile since my last relationship

My actual real name has a slightly rude diminutive version my really close friends use, although we also call each other all sorts of insulting things as a general rule. I've also been given nicknames by lovers that are specific. I don't do sweet ones unless they're fun to say, colloquial and tongue in cheek. Like babber. |

My friends all call me panda.
Marc has his own nickname for me, but Its personal so I won't share it
If people call me my real name I always get the feeling they're mad at me for something |

Throughout my life I've always had lots of different pet names. I can't say them on here as they're personal to me but they cover a whole range of people from family, friends though to work colleagues.
I think you either like 'em or you don't. |

My ex called me honeybee...adorable eh? I thought so too till I realised he called all his women something equally vomit inducing, ....mainly cutesy animal names. Pussy cat, squirrel, Mrs Rabbit...you get the idea. Being a serial cheater, it was probably safer for him not to refer to any of us by our real names. |
