Whilst still a teenaged student, a girlfriend had some and we tried it. Got a head rush and we giggled a bit, but otherwise that was it. We didn't see what all the fuss was about really. I certainly don't look down upon anyone for trying or using it. |

Everything is dangerous if you binge on it. Ironically, condom free oral sex is far riskier than anything poppers can do to you if you are in otherwise good health. The only real danger is overdoing it if you have also been overdoing viagra/Kamagra or similar. Both lower the blood pressure and you are susceptible to becoming quite ill if your blood pressure falls off a cliff.

I like poppers. It enhances my sexual experiences. I checked out the risks and side effects and I'm happy to use them with caution. They wear off within minutes. Alcohol is arguably more dangerous, especially as it takes a long time to wear off. But that's just just an opinion. I do get a bit of a headache sometimes. But I find the use of poppers is quite common place at swing parties. Reading this thread has made me think. Don't know.

My only experience of these was sat in a mates car, other friend found a bottle in the glove box, he was embarrassed and tried to take it off her as she undid the lid, bottle ended up open on the floor under the seat, intense pressure headache, wasn't pleasant.  |
