Was just chatting with a friend, and we both cringed when we thought that we were the bees knees in our hi-tech trainers.
So what did you have then, that would make you say O.M.G. Did I actually!! |

Naff naff jacket
Also where I grew up the 'lads' (me included) used to tuck our jumpers into our jeans. I guess we thought it looked cool at the time. Did anyone else do this or was it just our local style? |

"People thinking Le Shark was as good as Lacoste"
I went to New York on holiday when I was 15 and an uncle bought me a puke pink jumper with a crocodile on it. I hated it, never wore it until one day went to the shops round the corner, when a friend spotted me in it from afar and said, wicked jumper that's a Lacoste.
La who I said, couldn't get me out of it, within six months the elbows had gone in the jumper |

"Cheesecloth shirt anyone?
Oh yes!
Loved mine with my dark jeans with flower patches on."
I've still got a silk Jaeger blouse with a huge collar and big puffy sleeves I used to wear with jeans. I thought I looked fabulous back then.

"Luminous yellow ra-ra skirt with black spots "
Oh I had a fabulous pink ra-ra skirt, I loved it so much! I was a poster girl for pale flared Levi's that showed off my midriff for much of my youth, then Benetton in my yuppie period! Pink bermuda shorts darling, and fabulous coloured jumpers! |

I had a cheesecloth smock, obligatory 70's 'freak' wear |

Ok, here's the one...
Who had the black and white big scarf wrapped around with a big triangle of material at the front or to the side and the short ends hidden? It was very German, I seem to remember. No outfit was complete without my scarf.
