I had one about 10 years ago, was outside waiting for a lift home and felt all warm on my leg....there was a huge puddle of blood, I'd burst a blood vessel, I turned white and had to be wheeled back in |

I had mine done at 21, whilst in the Army.. 25 self dissolving stitches, which took about a month to go... make sure you wear baggy trousers and a nice soft dressing as the stitches sometimes catch...not too painful, although it can look angry on first glance. not a problem at all.
whatever you do, don't let the cleaners show you copies of Mayfair, Penthouse, Men Only, at the bitches did me, lol |

It was sore for a couple of weeks and while the stitches were dissolving it was unpleasant first thing in the morning. I was given a can of ice cold "gas" to get rid of morning wood which was a massive relief.
I can't comment on healing time as my reasons for having it done were slightly more complex than 99% of most people's... |

Same reason I had to have one. Sex was very painful. Mine was done in 2008 and was done under a local anaesthetic. The theatre staff asked if I minded them playing some music during the surgery, which I was more than happy for them to do. The first track that came up was "Sending out an SOS" by the Police. Really confidence inspiring!!  |

I didn't find it too bad, the recovery was about 3-4 weeks for me and the level of pain was quite low. They gave me painkillers but I only took them for a couple of days and I was ok after that. |

I know we all heal differently but hope mines like that , is it sensetive during sexual play |

I am lucky in that I heal pretty quickly. No, it is no different to how it was before, with one exception. My partner who I was with at the time noticed that after the operation I had extra girth. |

There are better ways of curing phimosis than cutting your foreskin off! Get a better informed doctor who understands the vital protection the foreskin gives the glands and for sexual pleasure . So avoid the long term negative side effects by fixing problem in a manner that conserves. |

I had a circumcision and vasectomy done 2 days ago. I was given general anaesthetic for the procedure which I wasn't expecting lol. Pain wise I've not experienced anything excruciating yet just the odd bit of discomfort but it could come in the next days or weeks, I've driven to the shops today admittedly walking around the shop like John Wayne in a western but I'm sure you'd expect that haha. Just stay stocked up on paracetamol and ibuprofen and you'll be fine don't worry about it |
