Good Morning,
Today is the International day of peace. A day devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace.
I find peace in music and off the top of my head this is the song I'm going for.

Pooch and I are about to wander up our hill.
Its our favorite place , a splendid walk.
There we have a hidden place we like to just sit and let the world forget us for a while.
Its so very peaceful.
Every one should have their own special place , they can sit and reflect |

Basically the trending list shows what's being talked about and at midnight the banner for peace day was released and the top trending article was America suspected for supplying white phosphorus to Saudi Arabia. |

I was just doing my morning check of the news: US officials are saying that Russia attacked a UN aid convoy, which would be a war crime if proven; Four medical workers have been killed in a recent air strike; and another unarmed black man was killed by a cop in Oklahoma.

Gotta have the right music though, it sets the mood. I always find any montage set to Samuel Barbers Adagio for strings just works. |

I wish cops would be held accountable for their crimes in the U.S., but it will be a cold day in hell before that happens.
Police culture accross America needs to change (along with fixing the justice system in courts). Society is tearing itself appart over it. I went to a few protests about this before I moved here, and the distrust on both sides was saddening. |

I've not read the whole thread and I'm *quite* sure it's been mentioned before - but the concept of a day of peace on this forum has two chances : no chance & fat chance
Peace is a lovely concept isn't it? And a great aspiration for us all globally. It's such a shame it'll never actually ever happen though. |

Lots of slow motion shots of me looking harassed and leafing through the dictionary then..possibly some 'thousand yard stares into the sky' shots...preferably in the rain some place, clutching at wet pages from the 'f' section...
