Smart tvs

Are they worth it?? For those of you that owe one what brand would you recommend?

I have an lg one. Picture quality is great, had to buy a sound bar for it though.

The smart functions are good, the wand remote is cool for a bit.

I saw an article where smart TVs profile you based on what you watch and search. And if you have a cera or microphone on it they can get hacked.

In essence I use mine for the same thing I have any other tv...HBO and sky sports
