"I keep look ing for a copy of The Moon as we know it's got a dark side! Hey hey we're the monkeys! Lol" .
It hasn't got a dark side, if you were on it you'd get a perfectly normal day with a sunrise and sunset just like on earth!.
It just takes 28 days instead of 24 hours.
It's complicated but it's called tidal locking, the far side never faces earth due to it and the earth's rotation |

I checked the pic.
Judging from the positioning of the feet, I think I can see why they felt underwhelmed...
Still, looking on the bright side, if 25% already admit to trying it, we can't be far from tipping the balance and all the stories being "The boring prudes who only ever have sex with their partners"

The problem with such hysterical and innacurate articles is that the general public believe them.
I remember discussing swinging with an acquaintance years ago and his view was "they must all be riddled with disease" when in fact we tend to be far more responsible than most people. |

I very much doubt those figures add up, 10% of 2% of the population causing a 40% rise in a very common STD |

So, a quick glance through the piece shows that the swingers, on Fab, have the most positive experience of threesomes and those that fall into it, with little thought and no planning, have less favourable thoughts.

Just love it when the Looney left creep out from the committee minded orientated lives they and Jeremy Corbin think is an acceptable way of life for the 21st century.
As soon as The Sun is mentioned predictable laughable pathetic bile spills from people who think that it is reasonable to adopt a 'facist & dictatorial' approach if they hide behind the sartorial elegance of 'socialism'. Get real, it's a newspaper, if two or three people don't buy it for whatever reason they personally justify to themselves then it will not matter a jot ...the same as if I claimed that the Guardian was for yogurt knitting , primary school teacher types who where cycle helmets when they walk anywhere or if I said that The Star was for white van man types who call all women treacle and eat yorkie bars.

The Sun print lies every day and revels in creating paranoia and hysteris, but a salacious story about 3sums is what gets people wound up. That comment isn't aimed at everyone on this thread but the old poem 'first they came fir the Jews, but I did not speak out because I was not a jew' springs to mind. |

The daily mail is owned by DMGT plc which actually made some decent profit in 2015 and 14 (13.2% and 15.6% respectively). So yeah I take that back about every company struggling, but news Corp made a loss in 2015 and a 7.3% profit in 2014 so not what I would call a money making machine if you compare to the 20%+ margins of Apple, Microsoft or Google. |

It is the right of any outlet to choose to stock whatever publication they choose as it is the right of those to buy it. Whether I lost anyone in the Hillsborough episode is not the issue nor is it for the bulk of the country, if an area of the UK decides to boycott the newspaper because there have been articles or expressions it does not like then that is for them to use their power as a consumer.
The large part of the UK will continue to purchase it regardless of the view of parts of the North West, parts which would largely have endorsed the The Daily Mirror prior to the 'fall out' given that The Sun is a Tory paper and The Mirror is a Labour paper.
So whether the tragedy was mis-interpreted by The Sun or not it will not bring back those who lost their lives by boycotting it, nor will it affect the sales of the copy nationally because Merseyside's have a (reasonable) grudge against it |

It tries to make money, yes
Ok you win
Just pointing out that there may be a link between its shitty journalism and the fact that it's profits are shit...
The journalism has always been shitty, even when it was going well.
The staff know they sell crap but it sells regardless. Although not as much s it used to."
Can't say I've ever read it. Used to read the daily mail as a teenager (it was free) but stopped when I got bored of waiting for the world to end. |

"Just love it when the Looney left creep out from the committee minded orientated lives they and Jeremy Corbin think is an acceptable way of life for the 21st century.
Get over yourselves....
Majority of Liverpool outlets now refuse to sell the scum, get over ourselves! Try Losing a loved one in Hilsborough and then say what you've just said
It is the right of any outlet to choose to stock whatever publication they choose as it is the right of those to buy it.
So whether the tragedy was mis-interpreted by The Sun or not it will not bring back those who lost their lives by boycotting it, nor will it affect the sales of the copy nationally because Merseyside's have a (reasonable) grudge against it"
Actually The Total Eclipse campaign is national and new outlets everyday are refusing to sell the rag. Especially after the inquest verdict which once and for all vindicated the fans.
I'd say it's a bit more than a grudge and why you feel the need to belittle the feelings by many people, from Liverpool and across the country is beyond me. No one I know buys it up here in Scotland and I've been here 11 years.
Oh and misinterpreted is an understatement. Lying about people stealing from corpses when in fact the fans were instrumental in saving people whilst the police stood around.
Don't fucking like your insinuation. Be careful. |

I'm saddened you have said this. Truley saddened. I lost a close family member and he left a daughter without a dad. As did lots in the tragedy. The sun told fabricated LIES, about our city. And it's been proven in a court of law!!!! Don't spout shit mate!!! |

"I'd never touch anything from Murdoch - will never have sky either of course. "
Very much the same...I would not knowingly buy a product or service that he owns or part owns.
As for The Sun, it is such a vile publication I really despair sometimes on my morning commute....at otherwise intelligent people reading it on the train and nodding at the stories.
Our problem is that people will read what the Sun and it's ilk say about swinging....and believe it. |

Ashamed ? No....
Why would I be ashamed?
Anti Liverpool? No...
Why, when someone has a different view, do people like you revert to child like pathetic insinuations?
I believe in free speech and democracy. Shame you cannot.
Block me ?.... ha that has really left me in an inconsolable state
I would sincerely recommend that you do not continue to enter into grown up's conversations or debates, if you cannot accept that not everybody shares your point of view then you should shut up grow up and keep your obtuse attitude in your own head.
As for futile little threatening jibes like 'watch out', the adolescent use of swear words and not liking insinuations, these do nothing more than reinforce your child like minds and your pathetic indifference to the views of others.
So here is two vital pieces of information for you...
The first is my father was from Liverpool and I have relatives in the area , so anti Liverpool ...no.
The second is my friend was at the game in April 1989, he assisted numerous people that day but sadly he couldn't cope with it and 18months later at aged 23 he committed suicide.
Assume...to make an Ass from U and Me
When you open your mouths and assume that you know everything and you attempt to take the moral high ground sometimes you only put yourselves in an elevated position of stupidity. |

I'm not going to reply and quote but I'm sure you know who this is aimed at. We ALL knew people at Hillsborough. So trying to trump others experiences is sad and pathetic and goes against everything the families stand for. I thought you would know that. If you read again carefully what I said you will note that I made no mention of "watch out" I actually said be careful as slanderous remarks are libelous.
Regarding YOUR comments about a few people who have a grudge against a "newspaper". I think you'll find its a lot bigger than a "few people with a grudge" and The Total Eclipse campaign has been on the BBC, Independent and various other media outlets over the last month or so. I'm a member of the campaign and stand by my fellow Scousers who want to see the demise of this shitrag. So if you are looking to do something constructive instead of spouting off, why not join The Total Eclipse of the Sun campaign.
Oh and please get something more original than the Assume comments, it's old.

I don't read it because it contains a load of old rubbish, untruths and claptrap. I am also put off buying it by its appalling Hillsborough coverage, I didn't know anyone who was there but I recognise the extreme distress the paper caused to anyone who was affected. XXX |

To me the perfect name was coined years ago during the strike at Wapping. The name was "The Wapping Wanker" and the name was also applied when Murdoch was referred to. I've never thought of that publication as anything else ever since. I bought it when it was first published for about a week and that was enough for me. Never bought it or read it since, useless piece of shite that it is. |
