I once got called "a Happy Shopper John Cooper-Clarke" in a newspaper review. Think they meant it as an insult but I'll settle for it.

Have been lucky enough to have seen him a number of times over the last 20 years. I would recommend his shows to anyone, never been to a bad one

Yeah. Well, if people laugh I'm a comedian, if they don't I'm a very serious artist. But most of the time I'm a barman, because there's fuck all money in poetry, and utilities companies are strangely reluctant to accept a sonnet instead of a direct debit.
