Has anyone noticed the trend of people sending an intial message saying something like 'I'm fine, thanks for asking.....' trying to kid you into thinking that you have messaged them first?
I very rarely message someone first and as a site supporter I can see my message history. It's mildly amusing that people do this, does it ever work?  |

Yes. We get it a lot.
One guy said we spoke six months ago. Seeing we have only been back on a few weeks, we asked him our previous ID.
We went along with him initially,and it was funny how quickly he sent us a face pic..
Funny how polite he was once we had the photo.
What is it with these sad people. Are they that desperate?? |

I think it's probably hard for them to get a reply sometimes. It's funny how many I have received though. It's almost like they ran a masterclass on this method as it worked for someone once! X |

We have started getting from a couple of guys,
"Did you get the pictures I sent"
Or
" I'm guessing you didn't like the picture I sent last week"
Guessing it's all just a ploy to get you engage in a chat
unless the wife is arranging something without me knowing |

Not noticed this particular one but I occasionally get "it's been a while since we chatted" yet their profile tells me I've never messaged them. Do they not realise a quick look at the profile tells you how long ago each side messaged and winked?! Good for them if it works but it won't with me, don't be underhand and don't try to play me. |

Not noticed this particular one but I occasionally get "it's been a while since we chatted" yet their profile tells me I've never messaged them. This is a good point too. The profile stats don't lie ha ha.

bit harsh like calling somone an idiot.
you said they messaged you over a year ago..maybe you have a different profile picture up and they dont remember they had messaged you.
after all it was "over a year ago", and I'm not sure how many guys keep hold of their conversation history, plus if not a site member it doesn't even tell that person if they have messaged you or not.
