For those of you who saw my post last night, I thought I'd update you on how it went today.
I took a splitter and connected her phone, and I also some battery powered LED lights to ease her mind about power cuts.
I gave her the numbers I'd found based on your guidance, for counselling and housing.
The thing she loved most was the power company priority list, the relief was clear to see on her face. We ended up chatting for most of the afternoon.
I just wanted to pass on her thanks, you gave an old lady some peace of mind and made her life a whole lot easier. |
