i never knew this until recently, i have two black cats both very petite called angel and sunshine. I only found out cause of a website im on that black cats get overlooked |

I can't understand why people ignore black cats, they are gorgeous. Two of my four are black, and two of my departed cats were both long haired black cats who chose me. They didn't give me a choice |

I've had 3 black cats...2 males called Merlin and Artemis, and a female called Isis.
Salem, Mephistophales, Slinky Malinky and Anakin were all names I considered |

I foster, My 1st mum and 6 kittens, tabbies ginger and tortie, all reserved by the time they were 5 weeks old. Current black mummy and 4 black and 2 b/with kittens, all most 8weeks, none reserved.   |

I help out with a local cat rescue and there's a beautiful cat there. Pure black and adorable but no one wants him.
I've said I'll foster him after I have my operation and recover. |

whatever you call it , remember youll haveto shout it out the door sometimes
my cats have maya names for jaguar and leopard shortened..so mitsy and bally
panther would be a good one, but if you shorten it it might come up as panties and singing that out at 11pm to your neighbours, might not be a good idea |

I didn't mind the colour, because I heard that black cats are often less popular I was more keen to offer a home to a black one. |

My sisters cats are called Dave and Brian. Mine is all black and called otis.
If it's big black and hard call it Shaft. As this a Fab cat could call it

Is Pain-in-the-arse a good name because that's what I call our neighbours cat. Well, I say neighbours, it seems to spend more time in our house, which is one of the reasons why I don't understand why people love cats. |
