My iPhone 5 is on its last legs. Probably going to move away from Apple. I don't want to spend 800 or 900 on a new phone but want the performance of the high end ones. Was thinking of the Oneplus 3. Anyone have any experience of these or other suggestions?

I have no clue what phone costs 8-900 Sim free?

It's normally 5-600 for the latest top 3 phone

S7 here... tbh the curved ones are not as good according to reviews...

Anyway the reason I bought it was for the 'best in class' camera...for shooting/editing filth pics with a device always to hand

It even shoots in RAW if thats important to you (which it can be for editing)

Cost £500 or so from Argos (with free charge brick thing)..... its brilliant

Good luck

Just got rid of the Sony Experia. I looked at The S7 because I've been happy with the S5, but the prices are still high.

Finally went for the Huawei P9. 2 weeks in and I'm very impressed with it. Much better signal than the Sony. Everything is a little different to the Samsung way of doing things, but it didn't take long to work out, or I could have read the manual!

The Leica lens on the camera is very good.

My biggest problem with edge is privacy, you can clearly see and read the screen from the side (yes hold it side on and you can still everything) so now all my work mates know I'm on here hahaha

I inwas on an iPhone 5 - I would definitely move to an iPhone 7.

I moved from a 5s to a 6s and noticed the differnence last year. Effectively you are moving 4 phone generations

One plus 3 is a great phone. For the prices, so are the Moto G fourth gen and the Nexus 5x. Can't really be beaten based on their price. You could spend alot more and not get the same performance.

Hi, I buy from Amazon, unlocked, and get a sim only contract, cheaper than a contract.

You have to get your network to update to their system after that is OK. Jim

Ive just got an Xperia X. Never had Sony before and went for it due to the fact it has a 23mp camera.

I am quietly impressed with it

That's kinda what I was thinking. They're half the price of premium phones and spec wise are almost as good and in some areas better!

I love Windows phones and their top end are good but well below that price. They synchronise with windows pcs, made by a range of companies including HP, who have a combined laptop and phone for about £700 or less for just the phone.
