Somewhere, a respectable distance from the actual geographic centre of the country, lies a small semi-detached house inhabited by a rather mousy, beige, bland couple of around middle age with ok-ish jobs - stable, some prospects but nothing inspiring - and modest if uninspiring tastes.

They went to bed some hours ago as he doesn't like to be tired in the morning and she wants to see if her new beige trainers go with her beige running pants...

Anyway... they're unwitting performance artists, so close to the national median they don't realise what a total pair of FREAKS they are.
