is it possible to drink too much? i'm not talking about alcohol now.. my little one is just wanting more and more water.

i know the weather is warmer but she will finish a cup of water and then ask for more straight away and drink it...

Does her breath smell of pear drops ?

Don't want to worry you but this happened with my son when he was 4, he had diabetes and persistant thirst was one of the symptoms.

takes a lot of water to reach water toxicity really

depends what your doing too - ive done a lot of hillwalking up scotland and in the summmer you can go through a lot of water but your just sweating it right out all the time

constant thirst can be tonsillitis too and eh cotton mouth an american term for a constant dry mouth

If you are concerned give NHS direct a ring - they are always very helpful x

Better contacting a professional rather than asking on a forum. If you are talking about a child rather than a pet and you re worried then if your child is important to you ask the right people.
