We are currently renovating a property we have that we usually rent out, having joined this site it seems that many have 'accommodating' issues, so we had the thought that maybe we should do short term rentals (ie afternoon, evenings) to save people the hassle of hotel rooms, anyone got any thoughts on this ??

"True, but no everyone wants to go to a club, or might not have a club handy ?"
In the Bromsgrove area they have the choice of a few place.
For evenings the only way it's going to be less hassel than a hotel is if you take cash at the door. But then a number of hotels have early check-in now so may be you need to think earlier than afternoon.
Then you have the cleaning between bookings.... think of how many bookings you need to cover what you would make in renting it.... do you want to do that much cleaning of tissues, condoms and fluid?
Just my thoughts.

Oh, then there is the issue of security. You will need to be there (or someone will) to let people in and possibly make sure the place is secure again after they go… you really don’t want to rely on a stranger bringing your keys back (or nipping to the key cutters before they do). Do you have time to do that or will you need to give up doing something which also earns you money to be around to let people in?
