What's the gig you mention you went to if you are showing off (in a nice way)
I'd say mine would be either
Judas Priest supported by iron maiden
Police on synchronicity tour
Kinks at brum odeon |

"Opening gig for Stone Roses in Manchester. Always been a massive fan and being surrounded by all those Indie boys was great. Sigh. "
Saw stone roses at one of their warm up gigs this time around...the atmosphere was electric....fantastic night |

"Judas Priest with Annihilator supporting at Aston leisure centre! Tiny gig with the greats on...and a full Harley on stage.
"
Omg!! I think was there!! I only went because I live Annihilator lol...saw them again a lil while ago!
Metallica and Megadeth in 93 and Megadeth and Lamb of God a lil while ago were awesome and my show off ones I guess...but my faves were Thunder supporting Heart a million years ago and Incubus last year...bloody amazing band!! |

"Monsters of Rock 88. Iron Maiden and Kiss headlining. Guns N Roses on second.
That was 7th son show wasn't it
When 2 died "
Yes indeedy...happened at the beginning of the show...in the first two groups..but we were unaware until the end of the day...was a bit unfortunate that Iron Maiden traditionally end their set with "Always look on the bright side of life" which was playing as we walked away. |

Was quite scary actually in the crowd that day....and I was tall enough to be head and shoulders above it....the crowd would move en mass for maybe fifty feet at a time each way. |

Many years ago I used to frequent a club in Soho, working in the area I was in the club Mondays Tuesdays etc. when nobody else was. I was tipped of by security that I should attend a gig by an "unknown band". Turned out to be a warm up gig for a rolling stones tour, literally feet away from the band with an audience of about 50 people.

Maybe Yes in 78 as it was my first proper gig,or Johnny Clegg & Savuka @ Town and Country Club,Kentish Town,Or Sonic Youth/Pavement at Brixton Academy Or Inner City Unit in Stevenage...I don't know, really too many to pick a "best" but maybe Patti Smith,if only because it took 30 years to actually get to see her,and Yes,she was brilliant. |

"Goldfrapp at Brixton academy, a wild night followed "
I went to that one too..
But my fave to date has to be guns and roses Wembley stadium 92..
Although nine inch nails and the other glam rock band, I can't remember their name, were both crap. .. |
