I'm six days late on my period but I'm absolutely not pregnant - I've not had sex with a fertile man since March - but I'm getting really stressed out about it which I know can delay it even further! Anyone else been in a similar situation? ![](/icons/s/confused.gif) |

Yeah mine have been all over the place lately, I've been 20 days late then had one pretty much straight after the other.
Don't stress about it, maybe get screened incase you have an infection or something, and also I use an app called 'p tracker' to help keep an eye on my cycle, you may find that your cycle is just changing x |

"What do you mean by 'with a fertile man '"
Well I've had sex once with one man since March and he'd had the snip years ago... and it was protected anyway. |

there have been two lunar eclipses and a solar eclipse in the past month..this could be the reason if you are sensitive to that type of thing.. sometimes my cycles switch because of heavy astro activity x |

Ah I see - I'd follow other posters advice then
Hope you didn't think I was prying . I only asked as a friend had unprotected sex with her partner for years as was told she couldn't have children - she now has two lol |

Yeah, I use an app on my phone too... I did have a 32 day cycle but it feels like I skipped ovulation completely last month so I reset the cycle to a 28 day one, and I had ovulation symptoms the other day when according to this new cycle I was ovulating. I'm just used to being regular so it's a tiny bit irritating x |

Yeah, when your cycle is thrown off it can be a real bitch. If you want it to come quickly you can take loads of vitamin C. Look online for the correct amount, but increased vitamin C can help induce your period. But its a rather high amount you have to take. It doesn't hurt you, though ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

The fact that you are stressing out about it, could delay it further. I had one time when I was nearly 2 weeks late (and I was celibate, so definitely not pregnant), then low and behold it arrived (heavier and more painful for that cycle). If you are certain you are not pregnant, take a deep sigh of relief for that! Haha. I would suggest giving it a couple of more days. If you are still worried and really stressed, possibly consider going to your GP, so they can take a look at you. I hope that helps... Fingers crossed you get your period soon OP x |

"Ahhh - thankfully it has now been & is now going... exactly a week late so maybe it was the lunar cycle to blame "
I suspect Nargles are to blame, or Wrackspurts ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

not now as I am post menopausal (thank god!) but a good few years ago when I got a new job working abroad for 6 months I didn't have any periods at all..I think I mentioned it to my (female) boss and she sent me for extensive tests.. they said everything appeared to be working normally and that it might be down to stress...3 days after returning home they started again ![](/icons/s/cool.gif) |
