Personally, I don't see the need to lie, especially on here. If you're not open and honest via messages, what makes you think you can be open and honest in person. I've ceased contact with several women because I've found out they weren't being entirely truthful, it's not as though the things they were being untruthful about would have bothered me in the first place, but the fact they couldn't or wouldn't be truthful from the start just makes me wonder what else they aren't being truthful about. |

I'm not saying it makes them more likely. It could quite conceivably make the opposite true. Doesn't change my _iew that if someone is willing to lie about trivial matters I find it difficult to trust or respect them. And without a certain level of mutual trust and respect I tend to find people less attractive (in a non physical sense obviously)
If you're not bothered, than that's your choice and I respect that. But I wouldnt lie to you or anyone in an attempt to get your number, knowing you'll not care.
It's all about choice. Some people choose to bend the truth, some choose to lie outright. Some choose to accept it and some don't.
It's really no different to picking photos with good lighting and which make you look your best self for here. People want to project themselves as best they can. But in reality, when it comes down to it, you are what you are. |

Depends what the lie is. If they said they were 39 and really they are 42 it probably doesn't really effect anything. They will always be a lot of lying in this lifestyle, and there's not much you can do about that. At the end of the day it's just a bit of fun. I expect honesty from my husband, but I don't expect 100% honesty from a casual sex partner. As long as their lie doesn't effect me or the situation. |
