You should go to your doctor as could be a Hiatus hernia or gastritis. I suffer with both. Medication will help. If its bad. Try over the counter stuff first. But the likes of omzprazole are the best. Also try and avoid foods that set it off. |

Coconut water is good stuff to relieve the symptoms quickly, the stuff which is as close to 100% coconut water as you can get, with nothing else added and not sparkling. Some makes are better flavoured than others, but it's really good. |

"Isit more burping with u?,,,with me it's heartburn or discomfort in my stomach. :/"
I can't burp haha. It gets trapped in my throat and chest. That's why bicarb can sometimes help short term, if it's particularly bad.... I'm not sure about the stomach though, and what helps with that x |

If you're really lucky and have an Asian market style shop around, you might be able to find some green coconuts to get the coconut water out of fresh. They're soft and easy to make holes to get a straw in, with soft white coconut pulp inside, quite delicious, for those of us who like coconut water. Don't use the water from the hard, brown coconuts we are used to seeing. That has gone way past it's useful stage and only good for keeping the hard white coconut flesh from drying out, so the. Untrue te and benefits have been lost by then. |

I only get heartburn if I consume too much spicy food over a period of days or have a weekend of excessive alcohol.
I take supermarket-brand calcium carbonate chews when it happens. The active ingredient (chalk, basically) is the same as branded stuff like Rennie and works for me. |

There is an OTC drug called nexium
It's esomeprozole. Related to omeprazole
Try that first to to see if it helps them go to doctor. You may have a ruptured for weakened hiatus. |

I have this, and I take omeprazole.
It comes and goes, so I won't get a bout of it for up to 3 month's then take a course of omeprazole for a month and I'm ok.
It was scary before being diagnosed with it, as once I produced so much of it, it filled my airways and actually was choking on it in my sleep! Luckily an ex partner was a light sleeper and woke me up panicking and rolled me onto my front
I can normally tell now when I'm due to take it again thank God |
