A Rubbish story line. Not unique in any way.
But, this is a great programme, I just think it was a shite plot done very, very well. The kids were good. Winnona and the sheriff were believable. The references to other films were the equivalent of 'where's wally'.
I loved it, and can't wait for more.  |

After all the hype, I was thoroughly underwhelmed. Finished the season out of a sense of commitment, couldn't be arsed if they don't make another season. |

I can see why. It was nothing out of the ordinary. I like this sify stuff. And when there's nothing to complex to get my head around, it's an easy watch each week.
But I certainly see why it won't be as much of s following like others (walking dead, breaking bad) moré of a cult following probably. |

I was totally underwhelmed by it. It made me wonder where 'tribute' becomes ripping off. It was almost like 5-6 films had been put into a blender and this was the result. The plot was predictable, everyone whom you assume is a baddy is indeed a baddy and comes to the sort of end one would expect. The goodies were signposted a mile off. This was a show with no twists, just a hack storyline playing out over 8 episodes. The Sheriff should be a boxer considering he can knock anyone out with one punch.
I found it to have great production values, but beyond that it was very one dimensional.  |
