Sorry, we are new, but I imagine this has been done to the death. How do people get their pics as top fabbed pic? In our experience we've seen pictures published, a lot of interest, and then it dies down as other public pictures come through. Just curious! |

It's the photos with the most fabs within a 12 hour period, which is why they go up and then drop out after a while.
Also seems pretty flukey to me as to what takes off and what doesn't. |

People like the pic by fabbing. It moves up the ranks. The snowball effect takes over; the more it's fabbed the more it moves up until it reaches the top page where all the non site supporters can see it and it gets fabbed and fabbed and fabbed. Do that a few times and I'm pretty sure you'll end up on more and more hotlists so the next time you post a pic it'll go through the process quicker. |

I didn't think they were asking for fabs, just wondering how it happens. If they were looking for fabs then they'd surely have selected looking for men so they appear in men's local updates since they fab the most. And they aren't. |

We started a thread a month or so ago now asking for fabs, sure enough we got onto page 1.
There was a thread previous to ours basically asking the same as you. It seems to come down to a few things.
Asking for fabs on forums
Update your status asking
Have all filters etc open
Location.
Basically make yourself as visible as possible and be totally attention whore it
We got a lot of bitter people totally missing the point of why we posted the thread asking for fabs, but it certainly proved the point.

Not bollocks at all, we've never been on page 1. Did all the above and hey presto there we were.
You've been up there plenty of times, I imagine you're on a lot of hot lists so will get repeat fabbers. Same as the usual 10 or so profile that are always on page 1. |

That makes a ton of sense- repeat top fabbers must have a lot of friends and/or been hotlisted. By that I presume the fact we have filtered out single men would count against us. I'm not asking this to get to page 1 of the fabs, just curious as to how it all works. Still getting our way around this site x |
