I've heard a theory that its all in Harrys mind and imagination, when he was being mentally abused by his uncle and aunt, he used to go to there to escape the mental torture he was being put through. In isolation under the stairs. |

Logical progression I would say, as you get older you start dealing with more difficult emotions and life experiences.
I find Part of the series charm is the way it deals with real life in a relatable way for it audience |

I've read it. It's ok but because it is a script it doesn't have the depth of atmosphere generated in the books. But interesting though. |

Muggles weren't a minority. They were the vast vast majority.
Dumbledore being gay was just too contrived and the bad bad death eaters (white people) were just one dimensional.
What is your problem with a gay character? Particularly as this isn't mentioned in any of the books and was stated by Rowling in a question and answer session.

Not read the Cursed Child as yet - unsure of the script format - not sure I'll really be able to get in to it! How's everyone else found it?

I got it last Saturday and had read it all by the afternoon. It was ok but not great.

The Death Eaters persecuting the Muggles and 'mudbloods'. It has parallels with 'racism' and the nazis. Same old left wing script about how we are all supposed to hold hands and be happy enlighten liberal people. Same tired left wing script. Very obvious and very rubbish. Plus she just had to make Dumbledore a gay. It wasn't quite left wing enough lol. I'm surprised McGonagall never converted to Islam and wore a burka and Hagrid decided to get a cock ring.

The premise of the book is light over dark! Good vs evil. The ability to be evil but choose the right thing to do. But is not the easy thing to do.
It not about race, creed, political leanings. Religion. Sexual orientation.
Yes it's a kids book that grew with the generation it captured.
But it's still only fiction!
