Friends do u have a big circle

I thought so but literally not when a couple of big recent incidents occurred. Family are best friends but I'm lucky enough to have a twin sister who is my best friend. |

I'm glad!
But being serious I actually don't really do much stuff with other people in real life I've worked and lived on my own for years. There's people that work nearby who I'm friendly with but that's the joys of the countryside! Lol |

I've acquired a lot of friends over the years but concentrate on a fairly small number, due to time, opportunity and depth of commitment. It's natural to move closer and apart and unrealistic to have gazillions of very close friendships.
It's also likely that as you get to know some better that you may not mutually like each other as much. |

That's the same as me too, although I still have family. I really cannot stand them. I think I was adopted because I am literally nothing like any of them, thank God! |

We have some really good friends and are close to our family. We don't have friends for the sake of it, so I'd say those we have count, if that makes sense. We've been through lots of highs and lows together. We are lucky and we realise that.

I personally would prefer too just have a handful of close friebds than lots of fake ones

I have two very close friends, and both I would walk through fire to help them if they needed me.
And quite a few of friendly acquaintances.... They're people I'll happily socialise with and help out but not ones I would confide in or turn to, we aren't that close. |

I do have a lot of friends. Mainly because I've met a lot of people through previous jobs and ended up becoming good friends with them.
But I also have a handful of friends that I've known since nursery (25 years) and we all still keep in touch on a daily basis. Those are my best friends.

A couple of months ago I'have said I only had a small circle of very good friends, and a bigger circle of friendly aquaintances, but at the start of the summer, I nearly shuffled off this mortal coil,emergency surgery and blood transfusions and im still here, but i was very pleasantly suprised with the folk that stepped up to help when i needed it, various people I'd not have felt I could ask for help appeared to take my dog for a walk, brought meals round, took my daughter out with their own kids on day trips so I could rest, my family were amazing as usual, I know I can rely on them, as they can me, but it was pretty humbling to find I had so many people who cared.  |

Same here, I have 3 good friends whom I have known for many years and for the last 20 odd years we always meet up at the same pub and have a few jars on New Year's Eve. Spent 2 months touring round Europe on our motorbikes back in the 80's

I have quite a few very loyal friends. I count myself very lucky.
I came on here to find likeminded friends, and ive discovered that ironically enough, they're very few and far between. People tend to be very guarded and untrusting on this site. |

I have my mum and my two children. Other than that, no other family.
I have two friends who I see once in a blue moon due to diary clashes, but that's about it.
I'm basically a shy twat who avoids people if she can. |
