Wenger has the exact same letters as waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanker
i just gotta rant
i feel for arsenal fans - 6 years done so well - played great against barca first leg - had fantastic moments - and all round good team i do like em
but wenger could barely shake redknapps hand - and legged it off down the tunnel - ok hes french - he is a sore loser
but my god respect to tottenham who just played a fantastic superb entertaining game of football - that was a great game - even though i saw mostly the secold half due to watching the by far better team of the hoops
but my god wenger yo arsehole!
sorry arsenal fans - but thats just terrible - you gotta respect good footy even when its no the best result for ya
anyways
arsenal theres martin oneil currently unemployed and due a shot at a nice big club - get the frenchy man oot!

right... back in from a pub split right down the middle with arsenal and spurs fans...
with regards to the comments about wenger, I can see how it would annoy fans of other teams... in that I want to see him get upset, and be a bad loser because it shows he cares...
the frustration for me is that we actually played well tonight.... the problem is the fact we dropped 4 points against sunderland, dropped 5 points against West Brom, dropped 5 points against newcastle
its not the away form that has killed us... its been the home form!!
we know we are not that far away from having a league winning team... and we know what we need... a centre back who has been injured all season, a consistant keeper (took us 2/3rd of a season to find that, and only because no.1 and no.2 were injured) the back ups are not good enough... rosicky, denilson, bendtner, eboue....
I am all for a youth policy and proud of ours... its just that he hasn't backed that up with big named buys that frustates the bejesus out of us...... |

gotta say not just for wenger but the whole club their finance and youth model is superb really
and puts shame to clubs buying 50 million quid statues and pushing the price of players to the insane
imagine how much do you think messi would go for!
ronaldo went for 80 and ok he is good but also a diving wee poofy punk
but messi! my god - possibly theee best player on the planet - 100 mill 120 140 ?
insaaaane
but yeah arsenal - great model great club - weird team - take some 30 yard shots for feck sake
i dunno if patience with wenger will last now - he is good
but tonight - i always think you gotta show some respect to tottenham they played a good game all round
the liverpool extra extra extra added on time of course he was right to have the rage on that
but even fergie the bad manager the bitter man - respects good footy and a good game
and stats wise
look at the stats for this season you would think arsenal were winning everything
shots on target - possession - shots taken - etc etc etc but just that little bit over
chamakh as well i think he has been under used not sure of present state fitness for the fella - but i liked him this season
but yeah understand wenger does really care and is a bad loser and that is good for arsenal - but i just got the rage cos despite that - it was great footy ball
and the press will pick that all to bits and make him the bad man for it

key point that is. they played football the arsenal way, but with a striker that leads the line with him. he scored, was strong and impressed for a young 'un coming in from France. RvP comes back, and theres no presence upfront, its all tip tap around the box and the different diamension was gone.
as mentioned, they need to spend big now to go for it. bendtner, denilson, rosicky, almunia all out. |

Personally I love watching Arsenal and think their way of doing business is great. BUT...
very interesting article today on BBC Sport talking about the most expensive tickets in the Prem (and therefore the world) going up another 6.5% which has angered the fans.
Plus the article said that the club's directors haven't put their hands in their pocket for big signings for 30 years.
With possible new ownership this looks set to continue with the club being self-sufficient from commercial and chiefly gate money.
Personally I think they do a great job but I can see how the fans would want a trophy as it's been a while.
As for Wenger he's not the best of sports really is he? |

i still respect arsenals model for footy
other news we all see that tv money in football is maybe gonna get humped! big time
and that will affect wages and transfers
and arsenal have the best by far model to cope if the tv and stupid money drops out the system
i dont think arsenal need huge signings - as individuals they have some quality players - i think maybe for wenger the danger is a different look on how to use em
ive loved walcott always - but of a fairy but light on injury - but the pace and wooooosh of the guy - my god
put walcott in chelsea or man u - even newcastle - aston villa - wolves! and what a feckin danger he is
its just that this idea of passing to the net - it works and when it does its tremendous - but get some grit get some 30 yarder shot boys - fabregas had his goes tonight well done him -
but big buys are not the thing - arsenal wanna keep being clever - look at torres the 50 mill statue
big buys not always wise
arsenal have got all they need they just maybe is it? is it patience ran out with wenger time
maybe i still think he is a good manager despite being an arsehole at times - but does it need a new look

As a life long arsenal fan im gutted that we aint won anything for so long, we need a new left back as clichy is juventus bound, cesc is off to barca, an outstanding centre half with a bit of leadership, and grit, we could have had van der vartas recomended by robin van persie but wenger said where do i put him our mid field is full of talent, joe hart was a possibility until shay given got injured, bentdner couldnt finish a cup a tea denilson since he hurt his back is never the same, eboue great entertainer but against a classy or quick left back or midfielder he gets roasted all the time but keep him for the carling cups, diaby never the same since he broke his leg twice,we need a at least 4 players to make a decent push for silverware...and as for playing the best football in the premiership it looks good but it dont work all the time.thats my rant over.. |

see... the youth policy does work... look who our left backs have been... ashley cole... to gael clichy... next in line will be kieran gibb.... then the 17 yr old coming in from charlton in the summer......
if clichy goes that doesn't both me...
we know what we need.. depth...
we have good talents out on loan...
we need a no 2 keeper if schezny is the one ... we need a centre back.. I like djorou and vaemalen... but no one behind that...
in the summer I think there will be a clear out... bendtner, eboue, denilson, rosicky, almunia, possibly arsharvin, clichy,
