The city, not part of the bathroom suite

I'm down there on Wednesday with work for the night and wondered what we're good activities down there.

I'm thinking sight seeing, museums, things like that

Bristol

It's full of 'em! But Topping and Company is amazing. I could spend all day in there.

Glastonbury

To echo another poster, Bath is utterly charming, very pretty, and just good to wander around.

Take a walk over Pulteney Bridge and up to the Holborne Museum/gallery.

Good book and charity shopping, if that's your thing. There's an amazing Oxfam bookshop somewhere...

Dunno?

If it were me I'd be organising a fair weather friend or two to spend spend some time with

Enjoy!

I'll be down there with a work mate so I won't be on my own. I'll check them out though. Thank you

Hopefully the warm weather will stay as we are in Bath next w.end and the wife is looking to book this. Then on to a bar somewhere, where again hopefully some young guys will eye her up (not that she plays) then back to the hotel room for some fun!

Just go for a stroll around the city and take in the sights.

The circus is very impressive. I lived there for a few years. Stand in the centre, close your eyes and listen the trees. Sounds crazy, I know, but...... The royal crescent is worth a look.

Poultney Bridge and the weir are impressive too.

If you have time and can afford it, go for a swim in the spa. It's very, very cool.

Go to Schwartz Bro on Kingsmead Sq and get a burger. Seriously.

There are some great pubs too. I recommend the old green tree, course de lion and The Bell.

Oh, and Swartz Bro do an exceptionally good burger.
