Since starting swinging I've been experiencing an intense headache above my neck at the back of my head (for those with a medical background in the occipital region of the brain) at the point of orgasm.
Ive done some research and discovered that they are referred to as post coital headaches. Has anyone here ever had one and if so how long before you could have sex without one again?  |

Not at all. Actually I've only taken Viagra once and the headache wasn't half as bad as when I orgasm without it |

Unless Tea can be included as a chemical influence I doubt its that lol. I've checked my BP regularly at rest on a lovely calibrated £4k machine and it's always around the 120/70 mark (I have a medical background)
From what I've read from research is it often affects younger men with an atypical normal BP. Usually after a bout of them they never return. |

I've had a really bad one a long time ago,so I kinda try to be more careful as the one bad one lasted a long long time |

Surely is more likely the chemical release post coitus. Other than that, ensure hydration. |

I've had episodes of this a few times, lasts a couple of weeks where everytime I orgasm I'm in so much pain, then I'm fine for a few years.
Doc prescribed high strength anti inflammatories and says it's a very mild form of intercranial hypotension.
Be careful to not grit your teeth or tense your neck up as the pressure build up is what triggers it. I also find if I'm getting shoved up the bed and my head is wedged up against the headboard that will trigger it.
Sleepy spoony sex is the best until everything settles back down. |
