Amazing turnaround from only 200k tickets sold to 1.6m sold now and the Opening Ceremony almost sold out.

I'll watch as much as I can tonight but will have to give up before the end this time.

I'm Last Leg watching now in preparation.

looking forward to seeing dame sarah storey...

if you want to know exactly how good she is.. at the 2012 olympic when they introduced the womens team pursuit.. it was going to be the same as men... 4 people over 4k...

in the year before the olympics, the UCI changed it so it would be 3 people over 3k....

you have all heard of laura trott, jo rowsall and danielle king..... the 4th person on that team would have been sarah storey

Mental ill health isn't a paralympic classification but intellectual impairment is.

Paisley

There are the Special Olympics for those with a mental disability - Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing year-round training and competitions to more than 5.3 million athletes and Unified Sports partners in nearly 170 countries.

Mental health issues are not the same eg depression, anxiety, addiction, etc.

I volunteered at the European Special Olympics held in Glasgow in 1990.

To answer your question, yes I am sure that mental ill health is not the same as intellectual impairment. One is a developmental issue (for the Paralympics this must be impairment before age 18). The other is a chemical imbalance or reaction to a situation such as a bereavement.

I still don't know what point it is you are trying to make.

"Yes, I have been watching as much as I can stay awake for and it has been absolutely brilliant Lickety hasn't it

I'm so glad someone else has been watching. It's felt like I'm talking to myself on here.

I miss too much due to work and it just doesn't have the same catch up on the morning news. It's such as shame as there has been some outstanding moments.

"

I'm a night owl anyway and have been egging all the competitors on anyway no matter whatever nationality they are x

I've been doing that for the smaller, developing countries. The one legged high jump was just amazing to watch.

Our team, fantastic as they are, have funding, kit and great training facilities. All of that shows in the medal haul.

Yeah I suppose they do, but it's good that quite a few world records were broken as well

Whitehead missed the gold. He was really pushing himself and got the silver at the last second.

Nothing dirty at all - just muddle aged women drinking and talking about our bits.

Liam Malone on The Last Leg is hilarious.

The Last Leg has really been back to it's original best doing the Paralympics.

I also really liked the signed ad break the other day.

It's the two Ellies in the pool tonight and then it's all almost over.

With 4 days left, they have won more than they thought they would, so far about 128 medals, that is more than they won last time in london.

Shag, it ends tomorrow. It's shorter than the Olympics.

I've really enjoyed these games. All the reports have been that these have saved the games this year, with more people at some events than they had for the Olympics.

I won't be able to see the whole of the closing ceremony but well done Rio for pulling it off, Ch4 for showing such a variety of the events, The Last Leg and event the special adverts.
