It's true about empty nest syndrome! I was so upset to see my son and daughter off to uni in Wales and lancs I hated going into their empty bedrooms! Am happy for them of course.
.there's not a lot in this city for further education. I have another daughter going next year and dreading it. Anyone feeling the same as me? |

My baby is leaving for uni very soon, and I am definitely feeling it! Waving my oldest off, a few years ago, was not nearly as difficult.
It doesn't help that I'm downsizing to a tiny flat at the same time....though I won't be settled there til after she's gone, the lack of space just emphasizes that I'm on my own again.
Feeling lost here.....
