not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

So I was warming some lunch in the oven ..went to pick up the baking tray and the towel I was using wasn't quite in the right place..ooow the burn is painful.

Don't ice it! You can get a double burn if you aren't careful. Stick with running cold water

I've always been told to treat minor burns like sunburn and use warm water,hurts like shit but it brings out the burn then moisturise the area (aloe vera preferably)

Cold running water for around 5 or 10 mins. Any less and your only cooling surface of the burn.

cold running water for as long as possible to cool the wound then a liberal coat of petrolium jelly to stop it drying out and superating .do not bandage
