What small comment / thing made you happy to day
Jump to: Newest in thread
As per the title , what comment / thing made you happy today ?
Mine was the till operator in Tescos who complimented me on having nice soft skin . I was purchasing twenty cans of Guinness and the lady on the till asked me to lift them over the scanner as they were too heavy for her to lift . ( I never drink more than one can a day in case anyone gets the wrong idea - an added bonus was that the purchase was on special offer with a multi pack deal and consequently cost less than expected ) .
The compliment on skin made me feel really good . I can only assume that our hands must have touched when either scanning the goods or making payment .
What made you feel good today ?

Not today but yesterday I paid for a bunch of flowers for a lady standing at the till in M&S.
I'd seen her about 2 hours earlier collecting for a charity and thought she deserved something back. Oh and no I wasn't trying to hit on her, she was about 70

Someone told me they were missing me. Doesn't sound like that should make me happy but I've been missing the hell out of them so the fact it's mutual doesn't help but the solidarity is nice in a weird way. |

I left a walking stick on the bus when I went hospital to have injection in my hip . When the bus returned 4hours later it was still on the bus .
Thank you to the person that handed to the driver I really needed it to get home . |

"A message from my sister to cheer me up. Actually made me howl "
My sister lives in Italy and not a day goes by without a WhatsApp, email or phone call. She cracks me up every day. We have families we love dearly but we have a bond and love second to none. |
