Like most child hood programs there were a lot of innuendos we missed out on.
The clangers were actually banned from one country because they swore (yes they spoke in whistles but apparently there was a script behind it)
With rainbow rod, jane and freddy did share a bed, so threesomes are naturally implied there. So did zippy George and bungle which again had gay or lesbian suggestions.
Personally i liked them as a kids show and it didnt effect me in anyway shape or form....
